One year later, same location [JN55GL] and same working conditions (President Jackson, home made 8-m-long fishing rod antenna).

Some good propagation, mostly from North Europe (UK, Scandinavia). And according to this news, we can be more optimistic about the upcoming solar cycle and improved propagation conditions in all bands.

Anyway, here is a short report about my recent activity.

No propagation, except 47DX054 calling on 27.555 USB at 11:40 UTC (S1 R4-5).

July 30, 2010 16:40-21:30 UTC.

Weak signals from Spain and Portugal. 30LO2990 on 27.575 USB at 17:09 UTC (S0 R3-4), 30LO2536 on 27.570 USB at 17:10 (S0 R3-5). Some portuguese stations on 27.395 LSB at 17:23 UTC. 20VR01 on 27.555 USB at 18:03 UTC, but also 21 and 13 divisions calling. 21TRC002 on 27.555 USB at 18:17 UTC.

From 18:33, strong signal from Mike 26AT030 (S7-9 R5). At 18:48 we had a short contact, and finally this is my first DX in 2010!

212AC/DX on 27.530 USB at 19:17 UTC (S1 R2-5). 26WF285 on 27.585 USB at 19:34 UTC.

Propagation is strong again at 19:49 UTC. 68DT019 on 27.595 USB at 20:09 UTC (S9+ R5). Other stations from UK. 29HA002 on 27.575 USB at 20:31 USB. 29SD505 calling on 27.555 USB at 20:38 UTC. 108NO88Y at 20:39 UTC. France and Spain at 21:15 UTC, strong signals.

Weak propagation from North Europe. 30AT/E136 on 27.630 USB at 12:13 UTC. Some spanish stations at 12:24 UTC.

Good propagation from UK, but also copied 90 division. Couldn't complete contact with Phil 26TM231 (anyway, thank you for trying) on 27.480 USB at 19:04-19:07 UTC. Steve 26ID101 on 27.585 USB at 19:11 (S7 R5). 14IR208 on 27.590 USB at 19:18 UTC. 29RSN001 on 27.555 USB at 19:21 UTC. Maximo 30MPR01 on 27.545 USB at 12:30 UTC (S1 R5). 30CC01 at 12:34 UTC. Some stations from 14 France and 163 Wales. Two stations from Sicily on 27.675 USB at 12:52 UTC, strong signals.  30/14KW605/m on 27.535 USB at 13:05 UTC from Alicante, on holidays. 21AC101 on 27.535 USB (S9 R5), speaking in German.

At 13:20 UTC (I forgot to report the frequency) the well-known Valentin 317UC471, strong signal and very good modulation (S9 R5).
